The Chevy Tahoe has been around since 1995 and still sports the same great features that have made it one of the most popular Sport Utility Vehicles in the world. First the 2012 Chevy Tahoe is a large SUV with 3rd row seating that can fit up to 8 passengers. The Tahoe comes with a Vortec V-8 engine and can be purchased in 2WD or AWD form. The base model LS 4x2 starts at $38,755 with the high end model LTZ 4x4 costing $56,075.
The 2012 Chevy Tahoe is powered by a 5.3 liter Vortec V-8 engine that makes 320 horsepower and 335 lb-ft. of torque. Power is put down to the ground through a 6-speed automatic transmission. Fuel economy is not bad at all considering this is a large SUV with a V-8 engine. Gas Mileage ratings are 15 MPG in the city and 21 MPG on the highway.
